ACC
I really enjoyed going to the Craft Show last week. There were many artists at the show that caught my attention. One of the first artists I was drawn to was a man who told me that he worked with a few friends/artists and they bent copper into a half rectangle and then fused it with glass that had a painted picture on it. I was especially into the four seasons and birds themes that were displayed.
Another crafter I met was a woman and her sister who made beautiful colorful wire jewelery. She told me about all the different types of art she did, so that she wouldn't be restrained to only one area.
I realllly liked one artist who not only made jewelry, but her display had little snow-globe type structures that had figurines and little knickknacks in them that reflected/were found in her jewelry. Going on that note, another artist I loooved was a woman who took miniature train figurines and decorations and made a scene in a frame. She had an awesomeee Dominos Sugar Factory sign one that was gorgeous.
I saw and spoke to many different artists and learned a lottt of different techniques for jewelry making. It was definitely a fun experience, and I'll probably end up going again.
